ALLAMA IQBAL 1877-1938 Lahore. One of the greatest urdu poet of Pakistan. He is best known for his poetic works. In Iran where he is know as IQBAL-E-LAHORI (Iqbal of Lahore ). He is highly regarded for his Persian works.

Khawaja Mir DARD (1720-1785) was a poet of the Delhi School and Sufi saint of Naqshbandi-Mujaddadi religious order. Khawaja Mir DARD shayari is very famous in Pakistan and around the world.
